GLA:D® (Good Life with Arthritis: Denmark) is an education and exercise program created by Danish researchers for people with hip or knee osteoarthritis symptoms. It focuses on strengthening the body, correct movement patterns, and symptom management to improve pain and support daily activities. GLA:D® Australia is a not-for-profit initiative led by La Trobe University.

Program Structure
The program includes:
- Initial appointment to explain the program and assess your current functional ability.
- Two education sessions on osteoarthritis, risk factors, treatment options, and self-management.
- Group exercise sessions twice a week for six weeks to enhance joint control, confidence, and strength.
- Three-month review with your clinician to evaluate progress, set goals, and re-assess function.
- Questionnaires completed at registration, 3 months, and 12 months to monitor changes in pain, function, quality of life, and medication use.
